Structural Reviews

Our engineering expertise include design, review, and approval of structures.

Ontario’s Building Code is a significant reference, drawing from the National Building Code of Canada, to ensure public safety within buildings.  OBC

Unique structures for workers in industry may be ‘stand alone’ (independent of building structure).  When the OBC is not an adequate guideline, we recommend a Pre-Start Health and Safety Review to ensure safety for all workers.  Pallet rack storage systems, towers, stands, machinery catwalks and mezzanine’s are examples of industrial structures usually not covered by building regulations.  PHSR.

Most inspections require an ‘engineer’s review’, whereby the Professional Engineers of Ontario has regulated guidelines, certification and licenses.  PEO
